Day 1: Welcome to Egypt - Arrival in Cairo.
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by a professional Nile Cruiser representative who will be waiting for you (in the pre-immigration area) holding a welcome sign with your name on it.
We will help you smoothly and comfortably obtain an entry visa to Egypt, and then accompany you through immigration, passport control, and baggage claim procedures.
You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in, relaxation at your Cairo hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Day trip to Cairo around the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum.
Have breakfast at your hotel, then meet your experienced tour guide to begin your day trip in Cairo.
Visit the Giza Pyramids, Valley Temple, and the Great Sphinx to learn about the construction of the pyramids in ancient Egypt and the builders of the Giza Pyramids. Then, head to the Papyrus Institute for lectures on ancient Egyptian life and papermaking in ancient Egypt.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with delicious Egyptian dishes and delicious Egyptian food at a local restaurant.
Take a drive and visit the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, built in 1902. You'll be taken on a tour where you'll see the most important archaeological collections found in the tombs of the kings and famous temples of ancient Egypt. The museum now houses the largest archaeological collection in the world, representing all stages of ancient Egyptian history.
Then transfer to the Cairo Hotel to relax and rest, and spend the night at the Cairo Hotel.
Day 3: Cairo to Luxor Flight - Welcome to Luxor and visit the East Bank.
Breakfast at your Cairo hotel and departure for your Nile Cruise.
Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional Nile Cruise team and accompanied by a licensed tour guide to begin your sightseeing in Luxor.
During the first part of the guided tour, guests will explore Luxor's East Bank, including the Karnak Temple Complex, the Hypostyle Hall, and Hatshepsut's Obelisk. Guests will then be transferred to board their Nile cruise ship.
Lunch will then be served on board with a delicious selection of vegetarian and international cuisine.
Later, guests will spend the afternoon exploring Luxor at their leisure.
In the evening, guests will embark on the second part of their guided tour through the magnificent Luxor Temple.
After the tour, guests will then return to their Nile cruise.
Dinner and overnight stay will be on board the Nile Cruise in Luxor.
Day 4: West Bank of Luxor, Tutankhamun's Tomb, and sail to Aswan.
We start the day with a delicious breakfast on board the Nile cruise ship.
(For early birds, there is an optional hot air balloon ride. Note that this optional activity has an additional cost.)
The tour will then continue to Luxor's West Bank and include visits to the majestic Valley of the Kings and three royal tombs.
During this once-in-a-lifetime experience, guests will enter the tomb of King Tutankhamun himself, and see his mummy, sarcophagus, and coffin.
Next, we will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon.
Guests will then return to the Nile Cruise ship for a delicious lunch.
After lunch, we sail towards Aswan where guests enjoy afternoon tea and beautiful views along the Nile Valley.
Upon arrival in Esna during our cruise, guests will experience our ship crossing the lock to a higher water level - providing stunning views of the Nile River during your cruise.
As the day comes to an end, dinner and overnight stay will be served on board the Nile cruise in Edfu.
Day 5: Visit Kom Ombo Temple and cruise on the Nile to Aswan.
We start with a delicious breakfast on board the Nile cruise ship.
Guests will then enjoy sailing towards Kom Ombo, enjoying the beautiful views of the Nile Valley.
Lunch will be served on board as you sail towards the first stop of the day, Kom Ombo.
Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, guests will take a 10-minute walk to visit the ancient Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris, an exceptional historical site that gives you a glimpse into the rich culture of ancient Egypt.
Guests will then return to the Nile Cruise ship and continue sailing towards Aswan, enjoying afternoon tea on the sun deck.
Finally, dinner and overnight stay will be on board the Nile Cruise in Aswan.
Day 6: Aswan highlights and felucca sailing.
This day begins with another delicious breakfast on board the Nile cruise in Aswan. (For early birds, there is an optional tour of Abu Simbel Temple during this time. Note that this optional tour is an additional cost and comes with a breakfast box. The temple can also be visited on day 5.)
Guests will then embark on a tour of Aswan, including a visit to the Temple of Philae, Isis Island, the Unfinished Obelisk, and a granite quarry.
Guests will then return to the Nile Cruise ship for lunch.
In the afternoon, guests will sail a traditional felucca around the Nile Valley, a mode of transportation first used in the 16th century. (Sailing will be subject to weather conditions.)
Finally, dinner and overnight stay will be on board the Nile Cruise in Aswan.
Day 7: Aswan to Cairo flight - Overnight at a hotel in Cairo.
Guests will begin their last day with breakfast on board the Nile Cruise in Aswan.
They will then be assisted to disembark from the cruise.
At the appropriate time, guests will be transferred to their airport for their flight to Cairo.
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met and assisted with transfer to your Cairo hotel and overnight at your hotel.
Day 8: Chiaro - Home
Breakfast at the hotel, assistance with luggage check-in.
In due course, transfer to Cairo Airport to return home with fond memories of your Cairo trip.
